THIS WRIT PETITION IS FILED UNDER ARTICLE 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO DIRECT THE LEARNED DISTRICT AND SESSIONS JUDGE, KOPPAL TO DISPOSE THE MISC.APPEAL NO.6/2021 FILED THE PETITIONERS VIDE ANNEXURE-E AND ETC.

In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought

for the following reliefs:

a. Issue a writ in the nature mandamus or any other writ or order or direction, to direct the learned Principal District and

Sessions Judge, Koppal to dispose the Misc.Appeal No.6/2021 filed by the petitioners vide Annexure-E and etc.

b. Issue any other order or directions as this Hon’ble Court deems fit to pass in the circumstances of the case, in the interest of justice and equity.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners

and perused the material on record.

In addition to other grounds urged in the petition, it is the specific grievance of the petitioners that the appeal in M.A.No.6/2021 filed by them before the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Koppal has not been disposed of so far and as such, the petitioners are before this Court by way of present petition.

In view of the aforesaid facts and

circumstances and the specific assertion on the part of the petitioners that the delay in disposal of the appeal in M.A.No.6/2021 is causing great hardship to

the petitioners, I deem it just and appropriate to dispose of this writ petition directing the first Appellate Court i.e. Principal District and Sessions Judge, Koppal to dispose of the appeal in M.A.No.6/2021 preferred by the petitioners as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law.
