This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to set aside the impugned order dated 19.09.2019 and to pass an order to release the vehicle i.e., Bajaj Auto Rickshaw bearing No.KA 02 AF 1200, which was seized by the respondent police in connections with the Cr.No.72/2019, for the Offence punishable under Section 20(b)(i) of NDPS Act and etc.,

Heard the petitioner’s counsel at the time of admission. Learned High Court Government Pleader takes notice for respondent-State.

This is a petition under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking the release of Auto Rickshaw bearing Reg.No.KA-02/AF-1200 seized under PF No.42/2019 in Crime No.72/2019 registered by the respondent police station.

The petitioner has approached this Court

because the trial Court did not entertain his application filed under Sections 451 and 457 of Cr.P.C.

Learned High Court Government Pleader submits that a separate committee called Drugs Disposal Committee (DDC), has been constituted for considering the application for release of the seized articles in connections with the offences under the NDPS Act.

In view of this, the petitioner has to

approach the said committee. Giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the Drugs Disposal

Committee (DDC), this petition is disposed of.
