This petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying for quashing of the FIR in Crime No.24/2018 of Sub-Urban Police Station, Dharwad, for offences punishable under Sections 376, 504, 417 r/w 149 of IPC and under Section 3(2)(V) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

The learned HCGP submits that during the pendency of this petition, the I.O. completed the investigation and has filed charge sheet for offences punishable under Sections 376, 417, 323, 504, 506, 201 r/w 149 of IPC and under Sections 3(1)(s) and 3(2)(v) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. He further points out that this petitioner is accused No.13 and he has been deleted from the charge sheet for lack of evidence. In that view of the matter, this petition does not survive for consideration

and accordingly, it is dismissed.
