The contemnor-accused appearing in person states that the sum of Rs.1,85,000/- mentioned in the order dated 13^th July, 2020 is a typographical error and the correct amount is Rs.1,10,000/-. The learned counsel appearing for the complainant accepts that the correct figure is Rs.1,10,000/-.

The accused has filed an affidavit annexing thereto a document showing payment of a sum of Rs.1,10,000/-. The document is at Annexure-R. The grievance made before this Court on the last date was that the amount was not deposited and the accused has admitted her ward to Bharath Law University at Chennai.

The learned counsel appearing for the complainant now makes a grievance that the said amount was subsequently withdrawn. Notice was issued on the basis of the allegation that the amount was not deposited.

The order dated 7^th December, 2020 also records that the accused has admitted the ward to the said University at Chennai. Therefore, this is not a case where action can be initiated against the accused under the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 for civil contempt. Hence, the notice issued to the respondent-accused is discharged. The contempt petition is disposed of.
