This Criminal Petition filed under Section 482 code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, praying to 1) direct the V Metropolitan Magistrate Traffic Court, Bangalore to dispose of Crl.Misc.No.62/2014 as expeditiously as possible preferably within four weeks. 2) direct the V Metropolitan Magistrate Traffic Court, Bangalore to dispose of I.A.No.1 in Crl.Misc.No.62/2014 as expeditiously as possible preferably within two weeks.

The petitioner is the wife of the first respondent who is

before this court complaining that her relief for maintenance in a petition filed under Section 12 of the Protection of Women From Domestic Violence Act, 2005 is kept pending since April 2014.

Since the application for maintenance would mean that the petitioner is without means of living and therefore seeks an urgent order to provide for her livelihood.

It is inexplicable that the application is kept pending even as on date. The enquiry having been conducted earlier, the court below should pass orders on the application seeking interim maintenance at the earliest. It is expected that the court below would do so with expedition. In any event, the court below shall pass an order within a period of four weeks from

the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. With that

direction, the petition stands disposed of.
