These writ petitions are filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the R1 and R2 to conduct petitioners re-examination of University practical examination of the Public Health Dentistry subject, related to the fourth year BDS Exam July 2013, immediately under any other examiners; direct the R1 to conduct a proper enquiry of the petitioners’ complaint Annexure-G dated 4/10/2013, after affording an opportunity to hear the petitioners; direct the R1 and R2 to prescribe guidelines or parameter to be followed in conduct of the practical examinations of the BDS course.
These writ petitions coming on for preliminary hearing ‘B’ group this day, the court made the following:
O R D E R
The learned counsel for the petitioners remains absent
and it is noticed that he had remained absent on the previous
occasion as well and had sought for time before that. It is submitted that these petitioners have already taken the examination over again and that the controversy as regards the earlier paper, which was of the year 2013, has been rendered redundant in view of the results having been declared pursuant to the present examination taken by the petitioners. Consequently the petitions are rendered infructuous and are
dismissed.
