Both the parties present along with their respective Advocates. Parties have entered into compromise at the intervention of the Court. Ultimately, matter is settled by filing compromise petition under Order 22 Rule 3 of CPC. Appellant is stated to have paid a sum of Rs.6.25 lakhs by way of cash to the respondent and he has acknowledged receipt of the same. Respondent has submitted that he is not entitled to any claim or arrears from the plaintiff in regard to the judgment and decree passed in O.S. No.2/2008 and R.A. No. 112/2008 from today onwards the appellant Umesh Kumar is stated to be the absolute owner of the disputed satellite channel (Renuka Satellite Channel).

Contents of the compromise petition have been read over to the parties in Kannada and they have admitted the same. There is no legal or factual inhibition to accept the same. As the compromise petition is on their volition, compromise is accepted and appeal is disposed of in terms of the compromise petition.
