By filing this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for

the following reliefs:-

“for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order commanding upon the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.05.2026 (Annexure-9) for arranging Viva-Voce examination in connection with Ph.D. Degree within a specified period;"

2. Heard learned counsel representing the petitioner and learned counsel representing the respondents.

3. It is the grievance of the petitioner, who is a Ph.D. Research Scholar, Department of Kurukh , Ranchi University, that her Viva Voce Examination for Ph.D. Degree is not being conducted

by the Ranchi University, Ranchi, despite completing all formalities on her part i.e. payment of fees etc., and also after filing numerous applications and representations before the Authorities of Ranchi University.

4. It has been submitted by learned counsel representing the respondent - Ranchi University, Ranchi, that the Viva Voce Examination of the petitioner will be conducted within fifteen days. 5. Considering the said submission, I direct the respondent - University, to inform the petitioner about the schedule of Viva Voce Examination, at least three days prior to the date when they intend to conduct the said Viva Voce Examination. 6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of .
