02/ 15.09.2026 By way of present writ application, the petitioners pray for a direction upon the respondents to fix the salary of the petitioners in the pay-scale of Rs.9300-34800 with G.P. Rs.5400 from the date of promotion to the post of Child Development Project Officer as per notification of the Department of Finance, Govt. of Jharkhand bearing Resolution No. 459 dated 09.02.2023 (Annexure-5) and after fixing the said pay-scale, revise the salary and pension and pay arrears of the same.

2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that suffice it would be if this writ petition is treated as representation of the petitioners and

a direction be given to the respondents to pass a reasoned order within a stipulated period.

3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since no counteraffidavit has been filed on behalf of respondents; as such, the petitioners may be directed to file fresh representation before the concerned respondents so that their grievance can be redressed.

Having regard to the aforesaid facts and circumstances and limited submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing the Respondent No. 2 to treat this writ application as representation and take a decision with regard to the claim made by the petitioners in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations as well as Annexure-5, by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It goes without saying that if the decision is taken in favour of the petitioners, necessary consequential order be passed within a period of 2 weeks thereafter.

5. One of the petitioners is directed to serve a copy of this writ application to the concerned respondent so that their grievance can be redressed at the earliest.

6. With the aforesaid observations and directions, the writ petition stands disposed of.
