02 / 11.09.2026 : Heard the learned counsel representing the petitioners and the learned counsel representing the respondents.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioners that the land which has been allotted to the petitioners is claimed by the respondent no. 7. He submits that to resolve the dispute he has filed an application before the respondent no. 3-the Director, Directorate of Project Land and Rehabilitation, Bokaro which is still pending.

3. He submits that suffice it would be if a direction is given to the respondent no.3-the Director, Directorate of Project Land and Rehabilitation, Bokaro to dispose of the application of the

petitioner.

4. Considering the submission of the petitioner, learned counsel for the State submits that if the application is still pending they will take appropriate steps to dispose of the application of the petitioner.

5. Considering the aforesaid, I direct the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 3-the Director, Directorate of Project Land and Rehabilitation within four weeks from today along with the copy of this order, who will take decision within ten weeks thereafter.

6. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
