1. Heard the parties.

2. The petitioners are claiming the land through inheritance and as their names have not been mutated, they have filed this writ petition with the following reliefs:-

“ a. For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, commanding upon the respondents to direct them to make the online entries in the portal of jharbhoomi.jharkhand.gov.in with regard to the petitioner’s land situated at village-Bela, Khata No.13, plot nos.72 to 75, 77 & 79 to 94 total area measuring to 8.96 7/12 acres under Markacho Circle, DistrictKoderma as per the entry made in the offline register-II which is lying in the Circle Office, as the said portal is maintained by the Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms Department, Government of Jharkhand for the primary purpose to provide citizens with digital access to the land records.

b. For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, commanding upon the respondents directing them to issue rent receipt in favour of the petitioners from the due date as the petitioner’s land in the name of their ancestors is raiyati land situated at Village-Bela, Khata No.13, plot nos.72 to 75, 77 & 79 to 94 total area measuring to 8.96 7/12 acres under Markacho Circle, District-Koderma and rent receipts were continuously issued in their favour till 2008-09 but thereafter they did not upload the details with respect to the land in question in the jharbhoomi portal.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer, the petitioners should approach the Circle Officer, Markacho which is respondent No.5, for redressal of their grievance.

4. Once the petitioners approach the Circle Officer, Markacho along with all necessary documents and previous rent receipts, their case will be considered by him and he will pass an appropriate order and act in accordance with the aforesaid order.

5. It is expected that within 12 weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the respondents will take a decision. 6. With the aforesaid observation, this writ petition stands disposed of .
