1. The present appeal has been filed under Section 14-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act.

2. Heard learned counsel for the appellants and learned counsel for the State.

The present criminal appeal has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail in spite of Section 18 of the SC/ST (PoA) Act, by challenging the impugned order dated 20.05.2026 passed by the learned Special Judge SC/ST Act (PoA) Act, Palamau in M.C.A No.828 of 2026 in connection with SC/ST Case No.61 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 115, 126(2), 324(4), 351(2), 352 r/w Section 3(5) of the B.N.S, 2023 and Section 3(1)(r) & 3(1)(s) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The case is presently pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-1-cumSpecial Judge, SC/ST (POA) Act, Palamau.

4. From the argument of the parties, it appears that the charge-sheet has submitted and cognizance has taken and thereafter summon has been issued against the accused for participating in the trial.

5. It is well settled law that once the summon has been issued, the accused are supposed to participate in the trial and execute a proper bond.
