2. The appellant, who is in custody since 31.08.2025 has approached this court against the order dated 19.02.2026, passed in MCA No. 1867 of 2025 by the court of learned A.J.C.-II-cumSpecial Judge, SC/ST Act, Ranchi in connection with SC/ST P.S. Case No.47 of 2025 registered for the offence under Sections 64, 140(1), 352, 351(3), 61(2), 3(5) of the BNS, 2023 and Section 3(1)(r)(s)(w)(i)(ii) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act (For short the SC/ ST Act), whereby the prayer for grant of regular bail of the appellant has been rejected. 3. Innocence of the appellant has been claimed and undertaking has been given to participate in the trial. It has been submitted that even as per allegation, there was a long consensual relationship between the parties and a baby girl has been born out of the said relationship. Even the allegation is accepted, it is a case of kidnaping of the baby girl by the father himself. It has been further submitted that it is nothing but a personal dispute between the parties and criminality has been attached to make out a case. On the above basis, prayer for bail has been made.
