5/14.09.2026 In this writ application, the petitioner has prayed for a direction upon the respondents to make proper investigation in connection with Bariatu P. S. Case No. 65 of 2026 as also to make a proper inquiry with respect to the threatening calls made to the petitioner by the accused – Md. Samiul Haque from inside the jail.

A counter affidavit has been filed by the State from which it appears that the concerned phone number from which the petitioner was receiving phone calls has already been blocked and in fact there is no complaint made by the petitioner that threatening calls are continuing. It has also been submitted that on completion of investigation, charge-sheet has been submitted.

Since the grievances of the petitioner have been redressed by the concerned respondents and he has also not received any threatening calls which was the earlier concern of the petitioner, I am not inclined to proceed further in this writ application and consequently this application stands disposed of.
