1. The present contempt petition has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding as against the opposite party no. 1 alleging willful violation of order dated 27.04.2023 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No. 6268 of 2019.

2. Mr. Shubham Mishra, learned A.C. to Mr. Nipun Bakshi, learned counsel for the opposite party no. 1, refers to paragraph nos. 6 & 7 of the show cause affidavit dated 09.09.2026, which read as under:-

“6. That the Interest Calculation Bill for a total sum of Rs.3,51,914/-(Rupees Three Lakh Fifty One Thousand Nine Hundred Fourteen only) was duly verified and passed for payment on 01.09.2026 by the Manager (Accounts) and the Manager (IR-L), Divisional Office, 24 Parganas, vide IR-L Division ION Ref. No. DO/24 PGS/Smt. Mina Singh/26-27 dated 01.09.2026, with the direction that the amount be paid by way of Demand Draft in favour of Smt. Mina Singh, payable at Ranchi A copy of Interest Calculation Bill dated 01.09.2026 in respect of Late Sambhu Singh, Ex-H/L, CPF No. 126137 has been annexed as Annexure-A to the said show cause affidavit

That accordingly, Demand Draft bearing Sr. No. 179948 dated 02.09.2026 for Rs. 3,51,914/-(Rupees Three Lakh Fifty One Thousand Nine Hundred Fourteen only), drawn on the State Bank of India, Dalhousie Square Branch, Kolkata, payable at Ranchi, has been prepared in favour of Smt. Mina Singh, the petitioner, being the entire amount of interest directed to be paid under the order dated 27.04.2023

A copy of Demand Draft Sr. No. 179948 dated 02.09.2026 for Rs.3,51,914/- has been annexed as Annexure-B to the said show cause affidavit”

3. Learned counsel for the opposite party no. 1 hands over a demand

draft of Rs.3,51,914/- (Sr. No. 179948 dated 02.09.2026) to Ms. Aditi Raj, learned counsel for the petitioner, in Court. A copy of the said demand draft has been annexed as Annexure-B to the show cause affidavit dated 09.09.2026.

4. It is thus submitted by the learned counsel for the opposite party no. 1 that the aforesaid order of this Court has now been complied.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the aforesaid order of this Court has been complied.

6. Considering the said fact, there is no need to further proceed in the present matter.

7. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite party no. 1 is hereby dropped.

8. The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.
