1. The instant contempt case has been filed for alleged willful and deliberate non-compliance of the order dated 22.08.2024 passed by this Court in L.P.A. No. 434 of 2024, whereby and whereunder, the following directions was passed:

…“36. Accordingly, the order dated 30.04.2020 passed by the respondent-authority is hereby quashed and set aside.

37. The writ petitioner is held entitled for the interest at

the rate of 6 per cent per annum over the delayed payment of amount of GPF, the Leave Encashment and the Gratuity.

38. The concerned authorities are directed to disburse the interest amount within the period of three months’ from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

39. Accordingly, the order dated 29.02.2024 passed in W.P.(S) No.5913 of 2023 by the learned Single Judge is modified.”

2. The show cause has been filed on behalf of the concerned opposite party, wherein it has been stated that the amount of interest, at the rate of 6%, for the delayed payment of pension, gratuity, leave encashment and GPF has been disbursed in favour of the petitioner and as per the statement made in Para 11 of the show cause, supported by the document as contained in Annexure-C series, the amount has been transmitted in the account of the petitioner.

3. This Court is of the view that as the order has duly been complied with, there is no need to proceed further.

Accordingly, the instant contempt case being Contempt Case (Civil) No. 306 of 2025 stands disposed of as the order is complied with.
