The petitioners have moved this Court for grant of bail in connection with Ormanjhi, P.S. Case No. 105 of 2026 for the offences punishable under Sections 318(4), 338, 336(3) and 340(2) of the B.N.S. 2023 & Section 47(a), 47A and Section 55 of the Jharkhand Excise Act.

The learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the allegation against the petitioners is that the petitioners were involved in manufacturing and bottling of wine of various brands. It is next submitted that the allegation against the petitioners is false. It is also submitted that the petitioner no.1 is the driver and petitioner no.2 is the employee of M/s. Trangani Liquors Pvt. Limited and the petitioners have no personal involvement in the alleged offence. It is then submitted that the petitioners have been in custody since 01.07.2026, as has been mentioned in paragraph no. 01 of the bail application. It is next submitted that the petitioners undertake to cooperate with the trial of the case and further undertake that they will not annoy or disturb the witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case. It is also

submitted that the co-accused person has already been admitted to bail by this Court vide order dated 05.08.2026 in B.A. No. 7277 of 2026. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioners be admitted to bail.

The learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the submissions of the counsels and the fact as discussed above, I am inclined to enlarge the above-named petitioners on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate XVI, Ranchi, in connection with Ormanjhi, P.S. Case No. 105 of 2026 with the condition that they will co-operate with the trial of the case and furnish their mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that they will not change their mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case.
