1. Learned counsel for the petitioner is present.
2. Learned counsel for the State Mr. Shree Prakash Jha, APP is present.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 16.03.2026 in connection with Karmatanr P.S. Case No. 13 of 2026 of the alleged offence registered under Section 108, 3(5) of BNS 2023 (U/S 306/34 of the Indian Penal Code) pending in the court of learned C.J.M., Jamtara.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is the husband of the deceased. It is alleged in the first information report that the petitioner used to consume alcohol and torture his wife. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that as per the first information report, the deceased committed suicide. He has also submitted that the co-accused, who are the brother-in-law and father-in-law of the deceased, have been extended the benefit of anticipatory bail.
5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the case of the co-accused stands on different footing inasmuch as the petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased and there is direct allegation against the petitioner regarding consuming alcohol and assaulting the deceased.

6. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that there is direct allegation against the petitioner that he used to consume alcohol and assault the deceased, who was his wife, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
7. The instant bail application is hereby rejected .
8. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the court concerned through ‘FAX/E-mail’.
