1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Sukhdeonagar (Pandra O.P.) P.S. Case No. 167 of 2026 for the offence registered under Section 318(4), 319(2), 61(2) of BNS and Sections 66(C), 66(D), 43 of IT Act, Section 10, 11 of the Public Examination (Prevention of unfair means) Act, 2024, now said to have been pending in the court of learned J.M.F.C.-XXXI, Ranchi.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.05.2026 and has been falsely implicated in this case. It is alleged that the petitioner was a candidate in the examination and that the monitor system of the petitioner and a few other candidates was hacked. It is further alleged that they were not answering the questions themselves, rather the questions were being answered from a remote centre. The petitioner, aged 26 years, is a student and has no criminal antecedent.
3. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer or bail and has submitted that the petitioner has been apprehending red handed in committing the alleged offence. The petitioner may not be enlarged on bail.
4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and from perusal of the records, it appears that during the examination, the computer systems of some of the candidates at the examination centre were hacked. The candidates, who were apprehended, were not answering the questions

themselves, rather the questions were being answered from a remote centre. The FIR was lodged by the Co-ordinator of the examination centre.
5. Considering the fact that it is a case of an organized cyber offence involving the examination process and that the petitioner was apprehended on the spot, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, this bail application is hereby rejected .
