Wakil Paswan @ Ankit Paswan @ Wakil Kumar Paswan Vs the State of Jharkhand

It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that four witnesses have examined by the prosecution till date including the informant who happens to be the father-in-law of the petitioner and he has been declared hostile by the prosecution. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 04.10.2025. It has further been submitted that the postmortem report has not ascertained the cause of death of the deceased.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner.

Regard being had to the subsequent development from which it appears that the parents of the deceased have been declared hostile by the prosecution, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, Ramgarh in S.T. No. 68/2026, arising out of Ketar P.S. Case No. 68/2025, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 805 of 2025, subject to the condition that the petitioner shall remain physically present before the

learned trial court on each and every date till the conclusion of the trial, unless prevented by sufficient cause.
