2. Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner and the state and have also gone through the impugned order.
3. Earlier bail application of the petitioner was dismissed as withdrawn on 30.03.2026.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is aged about 76 years and he is in custody since 24.03.2025.
5. Learned counsel for the State submits that total 22kg of Ganja was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. He further submits that out of nine witnesses, four witnesses have already been examined and the remaining witnesses will be examined within a month.
6. Considering his submissions, since five witnesses are remaining and the State has undertaken that within a month, all the witnesses will be examined, I am not inclined to grant bail to this petitioner, accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Rail (Ranchi) P.S. Case No.05/2025 (N) corresponding to NDPS Case No.83/2025, pending in the Court of Learned Special Judge, (NDPS) at Ranchi, stands rejected.

7. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed .
8. It is expected that all the witnesses will be examined within the time frame as assured by the learned counsel for the State.
