1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Sukhdeonagar (Pandara O.P.) P.S. Case No. 167 of 2026 for the offence registered under Section 318(4),319(2),61(2) of B.N.S and Sections 66(C),66(D),43 of I.T.,ACT and Sections 10,11,of the Public Examination (prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, now said to have been pending in the court of learned JMFC-XXXI, Ranchi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner while giving the exam was apprehended with the allegation that while he was giving the exam, his online system was remotely hacked and there was bungling in the examination process. The petitioner was arrested on the spot and sent to judicial custody. The learned counsel submits that the petitioner is in custody since 10.05.2026.

3. Upon a query of this Court, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the charge-sheet has not yet been submitted and the investigation is going on, but all the materials, i.e. computer etc. has been seized.

4. Learned counsel for the opposite party has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the investigation is going on and it is a case of large scale bungling in the examination process and the petitioner was caught on the spot.

5. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the serious natural of allegation against the petitioner and that the investigation is still going on, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Hence, this bail application is hereby rejected .
