1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 261 of 2025 for the offence registered under Section 309 (6) of BNS, now said to have been pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and is in custody since 16.10.2025. the learned counsel submits that three co-accused, namely, Jai Kumar @ Jai Kumar Tiwari; Ranjan Kumar and Meghnath Kumar have been enlarged on bail by co-ordinate Benches of this Court in B.A. No. 11815 of 2025 on 06.04.2026; B.A. No. 3715 of 2026 on 19.06.2026 and Cri. Revision No. 260 of 2026 on 06.05.2026 respectively.

3. Learned counsel for the State has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the name of the petitioner transpired during the course of investigation and the petitioner has three criminal antecedents.

4. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that the other three co-accused have been enlarged on bail by coordinate Benches of this court as mentioned above and that the petitioner is in custody since 16.10.2025, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 25,000/- (Rs. Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned

Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chatra in connection with Chatra Sadar P.S. Case No. 261 of 2025, subject to the following conditions: -

(i) One of the bailors would be the present pairvikar of the petitioner.

(ii) The other bailor should be his close relative.

(iii) The petitioner will attend the court on each and every date and on account of his single default, the learned court shall cancel the bail bond furnished by the petitioner.

(iv) The petitioner would deposit a self-attested copy of his Aadhar Card along with his Mobile Number before the learned court below, which he shall not change during the pendency of the case without prior permission of the court.

(v) The petitioner shall fully co-operate with the proceedings before the learned court below.

5. The instant bail application is allowed with the aforesaid conditions.

6. Let a copy of this order along with a copy of the affidavit filed with the bail petition be communicated to the court concerned through ‘email/FAX’.
