04/17.09.2026 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and learned counsel appearing for the State.

The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Jugsalai P.S. Case No.12 of 2026 dated 20.02.2026, registered for the offence under Section 111 of the BNS and Section 25(1-b)(a), 26, 35 of the Arms Act, 1959, pending in the Court of the learned C.J.M., Jamshedpur.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are not named in the FIR and subsequently they have been implicated in the case and their names have only come on the basis of confessional statement. He next submits that the petitioners are bona fide regular students of Galgotias University, session 2022-26, Greater Noida and they are presently pursuing the B.Tech course. To buttress this argument, he refers to Annexure-2 Series. He also submits that the co-accused, namely, Manish Singh had financially assisted both the petitioners at the time of their admission to the B.Tech course at Galgotias University, Greater Noida in the year 2025 and subsequently the said Manish Singh informed the petitioners that he intended to obtain a bank loan for purchase of land and requested

permission to route certain transactions through the petitioners’ bank accounts to reflect financial dealings. He then submits that certain amounts were credited to the bank accounts of the petitioners by Manish Singh, which were thereafter returned by the petitioners to the bank account of Manish Singh. He further submits that the petitioners have also received notice under Section 35(3) of the BNSS and they have replied to the notice. He next submits that the petitioners are having no criminal antecedent, as disclosed in paragraph 14 of this application. On these grounds, he submits that anticipatory bail may kindly be granted.

Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the names of the petitioners have come on confessional statement and certain amount has been transferred in their account and in view of that, their prayer for anticipatory bail may kindly be rejected.

Regard being had to the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to extend the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, the above-named petitioners are directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from today and in the event of their arrest or surrender, they shall be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty Five Thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Jamshedpur in connection with Jugsalai P.S. Case No.12 of 2026, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
