Heard the parties.

The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Khunti, P.S. Case No. 03 of 2026 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 103(1), 61(1), 3(5) of the B.N.S. 2023 & under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner was a member of syndicate of land grabber and when the deceased Soma Munda protested, the efforts of the petitioner to grab the land of Jiyarappa, the petitioner and coaccused persons hatched a conspiracy and committed murder of Soma Munda by firing upon him. It is next submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false It is further submitted that the shooter who committed the murder of the deceased is Sumit Dangal and the only allegation against the petitioner is that the helped to hide the weapon of offence i.e. pistol and live cartridge in the farm house of Sandeep Khalkho. It is then submitted that the co-accused person has been granted bail vide order dated 06.05.2026 in B.A. No. 3814 of 2026. It is next submitted that the petitioner undertakes that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case. It is therefore submitted that none of the witnesses have been examined in this case charge-sheet has been submitted against

the petitioner It is lastly submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent as mentioned in para 20 and he has been in custody since 28.01.2026 as mentioned in para-20 of the instant bail application. Hence it is submitted that the petitioner be released on bail.

Learned Addl.P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.

Considering the facts of this case, the above-named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/(Rupees twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khunti in connection with Khunti, P.S. Case No. 03 of 2026 with the condition that he will co-operate with the trial of the case and furnish his mobile number and photocopy of the Aadhar Card in the court below with an undertaking that he will not change his mobile number during the trial of the case and will not annoy or disturb the informant or witnesses of the case in any manner during the trial of the case .
