The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Argora P.S. Case No. 247 of 2025, registered under sections 126(2), 115(2), 117(2), 109(1), 352, 351(2) of BNS, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, XIII, Ranchi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that informant has slapped the petitioner and during scuffle the nails of the petitioner has scratched the eyebrow of the informant due to which the informant has suffered a minor lacerated wound which has been elucidated a simple injury. She further submits that the petitioner has one criminal antecedent relating to section 498A I.P.C and that case has been compromised and the petitioner is on bail in the said case. On these grounds, she submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegation of assault is there.

Considering that scuffle took place between the petitioner and informant and it has been pointed out that during scuffle the nails of the petitioner has scratched the eyebrow of the informant due to which the informant received injury which is simple in nature, I am inclined to grant

anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the above named, petitioner is directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today and in the event of his surrender / arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 25,000/- (twenty five thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, XIII, Ranchi, in connection with Argora P.S. Case No. 247 of 2025, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 482 (2) of B.N.S.S, 2023.
