1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the parties.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 24.11.2025 in connection with Kanke P.S. Case No. 305 of 2025(N), for the alleged offence registered under Sections 111(2) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and under Sections 20(b)(ii), 21(b), 22, 29 of NDPS Act pending in the court of learned Special Judge (NDPS), Ranchi.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and there is alleged recovery of 105 grams of brown sugar, 1.06 kg of ganja and cash amount of Rs.1,81,630/- from the house of petitioner and such recovery is not from his conscious possession. His wife has also been made accused in this case. He has submitted that the co-accused persons namely Mukesh Kumar @ Mukesh Kumar Yadav and Amit Kumar Gupta @ Bittu, who were selling brown sugar, have been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No. 835 of 2026 vide order dated 26.02.2026 and in B.A. No. 1664 of 2026 vide order dated 12.03.2026 respectively.

4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party-State has opposed the prayer and has submitted that the wife of the petitioner has also been refused bail by this Court in B.A. No. 107 of

2026 by a co-ordinate bench of this Court yesterday and the petitioner is the supplier of narcotics.

5. To this, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the bail application of the wife has been rejected on the ground that she has criminal antecedent.

After hearing the learned counsel for the parties and considering the fact that huge quantity of narcotics has been recovered from the house of the petitioner and the co-accused i.e. his wife has been declined bail by this Court in B.A. No. 107 of 2026 and they are alleged to be supplier of narcotics, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.

So far as the co-accused persons, who have been granted bail by this Court is concerned, only 14 grams of brown sugar was recovered from Mukesh Kumar @ Mukesh Kumar Yadav and 35 grams of brown sugar was recovered from Amit Kumar Gupta, who are claimed themselves to be a drug addict and claimed that brown sugar was kept for their own consumption. The case of the present petitioner is on different footing.

8. The instant bail application is rejected accordingly.
