02/ 18.04.2026 : Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned counsel for the State.

The petitioners are apprehending their arrest in connection with Pathargama P.S. Case No. 06 of 2026, registered under sections 115(2), 126(2), 127(2), 109/3(5) of BNS, 2023, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M, Godda.

Learned counsel for the petitioners by referring Annexure-2 submits that petitioners were also assaulted by the informant for that the petitioners submitted written report before the Officer-in-Charge, Pathargama Police Station but the F.I.R has not been registered however written report submitted by the informant has been registered as F.I.R against the petitioners. He further submits that petitioner no. 2 is wife of petitioner no.1. By way of referring annexure-4, he submits that petitioner no.2 has received injury for that she has been treated. On these grounds, he submits that the petitioner may kindly be provided privilege of anticipatory bail.

Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer and submits that allegation of assault is there and informant has received injury.
