1. Heard the parties.

This bail application has been filed under Sections 483 and 484 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 302, 120 (B) of the IPC and under Section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail.

4. The brief facts of this case as per the statement of the informant is that his daughter was married with Ravi Agarwal. There was some dispute between his daughter and son-in-law. On 26.05.2023 his daughter and her husband went to Gangtok where her husband tried to murder her but she somehow escaped and after some mediation she went to her matrimonial home but the torture continued. Finally, on 29.03.2024, he got to know that when her daughter and her husband went near highway for a treat, she was shot.

5. During investigation it emerged that the petitioner was a contract killer who had taken money from the husband of the deceased to murder her. Though the petitioner did not give the fatal blow but when the murder had taken place, this petitioner was there with the assailants. Further, this petitioner arranged for the arms also.

6. In view of the nature of offence and the involvement of the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner in
