The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the Circle Officer, Namkum, Ranchi (the respondent no. 3) to provide certified copy of the entire records of Mutation Case No. 356 R 27/2013-14 kept in the District Record Room, Ranchi, to the petitioner as, according to him, despite filing of the requisites, the same has not yet been supplied to him.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has the lawful claim over the land appertaining to Khata No. 32, plot nos. 776, 820, 821 and 822, Village- Dundu, Thana No. 274, P.S.- Dhurwa, District- Ranchi measuring total area of 1.22 acres which has been mutated in favour of M/s. Pratham Prakash Commercial Private Limited vide Mutation Case No. 356 R 27/2013-14. Under the said circumstance, the petitioner

made requisition before the respondent no. 3 for obtaining certified copy of the entire records of Mutation Case No. 356 R 27/2013-14, however the same has not yet been supplied to him which has compelled him to prefer the present writ petition.

3. Mr. K.K. Singh, learned S.C.-V appearing on behalf of the respondents, submits that if the petitioner files a fresh application along with the requisite fee before the respondent no. 3 seeking certified copy of the entire records of Mutation Case No. 356 R 27/2013-14, the same will be provided to him within a reasonable period.

4. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of prayer made in the present writ petition, the petitioner is given liberty to prefer a fresh application along with requisite fee before the respondent no. 3 seeking certified copy of the entire records of Mutation Case No. 356 R 27/2013-14. On receipt of the said application, the respondent no. 3 shall process the same and provide the certified copy of the entire records of the said mutation case to the petitioner within four weeks from the date of filing of the application.

5. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with aforesaid liberty and direction.
