It is not in dispute that pursuant to the directions passed by

the Writ Court vide impugned judgment dated 13.08.2018 in W.P.(S) No. 3003 of 2015, the respondent herein was reinstated in service in the year 2019 itself and since retired on 31.10.2024.

2. Under the said circumstance, the instant appeal has been rendered infructuous and the same is accordingly disposed of as infructuous.

3. However, it is made clear that the question of law as raised in the appeal is left open to be determined in some other proceeding.
