Heard Mr. Krishna Murari, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Vineet Chandra, learned A.C to A.A.G-III.

Learned counsel for the State submitted that the judgment dated 18.01.2024 passed in W.P.(S) No. 2686 of 2016 has been complied with by the O.P. No.2 and the notification dated 07.03.2025 has been issued by the Road Construction Department, by which the punishment imposed upon the petitioner has been rescinded.

It is further submitted that the I.A. No. 4098 of 2025 has been filed on behalf of the O.P. No.2 seeking exemption from appearing in person in this case as the order has already been complied with.

However, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted the order has not been fully complied with by the O.P. No.2.

It appears that pursuant to the judgment dated 18.01.2024 passed in W.P.(S) No. 2686 of 2016, the Respondent Authorities had issued notification dated 07.03.2025 under the signature of Special Secretary to Government, Road Construction Department by which the notification no. 7612(S) dated 28.03.2013 has been rescinded and it has also been decided that the petitioner will be entitled to receive full salary for the period 25.02.2010 to 31.03.2011.

It appears that the O.P. No.2 has already purged the contempt and hence the contempt case is dropped.

It is needless to say if any grievance remains pending, it will be open to the petitioner to take necessary steps in accordance with law.

Accordingly, I.A. No.4098 of 2025 is allowed and stands disposed of.

Thus, Cont. Case (Civil) No. 832 of 2024 stands disposed of.
