04/ 06.08.2025 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned D.S.G.I. appearing for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).

The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with R.C. No. 02(A)/2022-R, registered for the offences under Sections 409, 420, 120-B, 467, 468, 471 and 109 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 13(2) read with Sections 13(1)(d) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, pending in the court of learned AJC-XVIII-cumSpecial Judge, CBI, Ranchi.

Mr. Indrajit Sinha, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioners have co-operated with the CBI and now the chargesheet has already been submitted. He submits that the allegations are levelled against the petitioners that in two of the tenders, they have participated and they have defalcated the

government money. He further submits that one of the co-accused has already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail by this court in A.B.A. No. 3381 of 2025 by order dated 01.08.2025.

Mr. Prashant Pallav, learned D.S.G.I. appearing for the CBI has opposed the prayer and submits that the allegations are there against the petitioners of embezzling the government money.

Considering that the chargesheet has already been submitted and during the investigation, it appears that the petitioners have co-operated in the investigation that’s why the CBI has not arrested them and further one of the co-accused has already been provided the privilege of anticipatory bail in A.B.A. No. 3381 of 2025 by order dated 01.08.2025, I am inclined to provide privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are hereby directed to surrender before the learned court within three weeks from today, and in the event of their surrender/arrest, the petitioners, above named, shall be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/(Rupees Twenty Five Thousand) each, with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned AJC-XVIII-cum-Special Judge, CBI, Ranchi, in connection with R.C. No. 02(A)/2022-R, subject to the conditions as laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
