Bail granted. Amresh Yadav, brother-in-law of the deceased Urmila Devi who was murdered in her matrimonial home, sought bail in S.T. Case No. 429/2024 (arising out of Hariharganj P.S. Case No. 09/2022, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 1065/2024) for offences under Sections 302/120B/34 IPC, pending before the learned Additional Sessions Judge-IX, Palamau at Daltonganj. His earlier bail application (B.A. No. 6192 of 2024) had been rejected by this Court on 14.10.2024. On the renewed application it was submitted that the charge stood framed, only four prosecution witnesses had been examined and none supported the prosecution case, the mother-in-law of the deceased (residing in the same house) had already been granted bail in B.A. No. 1577 of 2025, and the petitioner was in custody since 31.03.2024. Regard being had to these facts and circumstances, the Court (Ambuj Nath, J.) directed release on bail on a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each.

Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 429/2024, arising out of Hariharganj P.S. Case No. 09/2022, Corresponding to G. R. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this court vide B.A. No. 6192 of 2024 by order dated 14.10.2024.

The Petitioner happens to be brother-in-law of the deceased Urmila Devi, who was murdered in her matrimonial home It was submitted that the mother-in-law of the deceased Urmila Devi, who was also residing in the same house has been granted bail by this court vide B.A. No. 1577 of 2025. It was further submitted that the charge has been framed in this case and the prosecution has examined only four witness and none of the witnesses have supported the prosecution case. It was finally submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 31.03.2024.
