BAIL — Grant of bail — Parity with co-accused. The petitioner, aged about 21 years, was made accused in Chandwa P.S. Case No. 171 of 2024 for offences under Sections 111(3), 308(4), 320(4), 310(6), 61, 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 25(1-B) a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act, pending before the learned A.C.J.M., Latehar. He was apprehended on 17.11.2024 when Chandwa Police raided an agriculture farm at Kusumtoli on confidential information that criminals assembling there were preparing to commit dacoity, and a loaded country-made pistol was allegedly recovered from his possession. Since similarly situated co-accused (Deepak Lohra, Dinesh Kumar and Badal Lohra) had already been granted bail by the Court in B.A. No. 1233 of 2025, the Court directed the petitioner's release on bail on furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M., Latehar.
