order of rejection and filed the instant case by taking a chance, inasmuch as, this writ application has been filed in the year, 2024; whereas the order of rejection was passed on 05.02.2018. This clearly goes to show that the petitioner is a chance taking person and as per the rules and regulation of the respondent-Department; no appointment can be given. In the present facts and circumstances of the case and even otherwise the basic object of compassionate appointment will be frustrated if this type of petitioner is given opportunity of compassionate appointment after death of 19 years of the ex-employee.
