Heard learned counsels for the parties.

2. The instant writ application has been preferred by the petitioner praying for a direction upon the respondent authorities to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground on account of death of her father, who died in harness on 03.03.2010.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was a minor at the time of death of her father and now, she is entitled to get appointment on compassionate ground.

4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since no counter affidavit has been filed; as such, the petitioner may be directed to approach respondent No.7, who shall decide the issue in question.

Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, the instant writ application is hereby disposed of by directing respondent No.7 to treat this writ application as representation and take a decision in the matter by passing a reasoned order in accordance with law and applicable rules and regulations, within a period of 16 weeks from the date receipt/production of a copy of this order.

6. The petitioner would be at liberty to submit a copy of the entire writ application along with the judgments which she relies, before the respondent No.7 at the earliest so that her matter can be redressed at the earliest.

7. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of in the manner as indicated hereinabove.
