The petitioner had approached this Court with the following

prayers:

a. For a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to constitute a Jharkhand State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and further to appoint one Chairperson and 6 member as per section 7 of the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act 2005 which is lying vacant since April 2019.

b. For a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to immediately constitute a selection committee as per Rule 87 of Jharkhand Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules 2017 so that the members of Juvenile Justice Board and Child Welfare Committee should be appointed at the earliest.

c. For a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent-State to immediately appoint members of Juvenile Justice Board and Child Welfare Committee in all the districts where the said post is vacant with immediate effect.

d. For a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent-State to properly implement Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS) and appoint all the stakeholders as provided under the scheme.

Mr. Anup Kumar Agarwal, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that now the grievance raised before this Court through the present writ petition (PIL) has substantially been redressed by the respondents therefore he has instruction to withdraw this writ petition.

Accordingly, WP(PIL) No. 2782 of 2020 is dismissed as
