The instant application has been preferred by the petitioner for a direction upon the respondent authorities to grant arrear of difference of salary from 01.04.1998 till the date of retirement of the petitioner i.e. on 30.11.2006. The petitioner has further prayed for leave encashment of 217 days.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that as per para 5 of the counter affidavit the petitioner has received the entire amount, however, he has not yet received any information from his client, as such, the case may be disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner that if at all any amount still remains to be paid, the same may be paid to the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the respondent State reiterates the averments made in para 5 of the counter affidavit and further submits that if at all any amount still remain to be paid the same will be looked into.

Having regard to the facts of the case since the prayer of the petitioner has already been redressed nothing remains to be adjudicated by this Court. Accordingly, the instant application stands disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner that if at all any amount still remains to be paid to this petitioner, he may agitate his grievance before the appropriate authority.

With the aforesaid observation and direction, the instant application stands disposed of.
