Mr. Ankit Kumar, learned counsel for the State is present.

The prayer in the writ petition is made for direction upon the respondents to make necessary entry in the online Register II record, pertaining to the land of the petitioner situated at Ward no.7, MouzaHatma, Thana no.200, Municipal Survey 1929, Plot no.610, ad-measuring 6 decimals, originally recorded in the M.S. Khatian in the name of great grandfather of the petitioner, i.e., in the name of Late Nathua Ahir, son of Dhanu Ahir. The further prayer is made for issuance of necessary rent receipt by accepting appropriate rent.

It has been averred in the petition that the petitioner has already filed a representation before the Circle Officer, Sadar, Ranchi and till date, no decision has been taken on that representation.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the Circle Officer is the competent authority to decide the said representation.

In view of the above facts, this writ petition is being disposed of with direction to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before the Circle Officer, Sadar, Ranchi within a period of two weeks. If such representation is filed by the petitioner, the Circle Officer, Sadar, Ranchi will take a decision on the said representation, in accordance with law within a period of four weeks thereafter.

Accordingly, this petition is disposed of.
