02 /23.08.2024 The prayer in this petition has been made for extension of surrender time in the light of order dated 16.05.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 2680 of 2024.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by order dated 16.05.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 2680 of 2024, the petitioner was provided privilege of anticipatory bail. By way of referring to Annexure-2, which is the medical prescription of the petitioner, he submits that due to serious illness, the petitioner has not been able to surrender before the learned court within the stipulated period.
3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the privilege of anticipatory bail was already provided to the petitioner in spite of that the petitioner was not surrendered.
4. Considering that the privilege of anticipatory bail was already provided to the petitioner and Annexure-2 which is the medical prescription of the petitioner, however, the petitioner has not been able to surrender due to the reason pointed out by the learned counsel for the petitioner, as such further two weeks’ time from today is extended to surrender in the light of order dated 16.05.2024 passed in A.B.A. No. 2680 of 2024. Rest of the conditions are kept intact.
5. This petition is disposed of.
