The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Bodam P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024, for the offences registered under Section 392 of the I.P.C., pending in the Court of Sri Pawan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Jamshedpur.

On 27.06.2024, at about 04:45 p.m., the informant along with his friends were looted by eight persons near Dimna Lake.

It was submitted that petitioner is neither named in the F.I.R., nor he was put on T.I. Parade. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner. It was finally submitted that coaccused Deva Rao from whose possession, some incriminating articles were recovered, has been granted bail vide B.A. No. 9119 of 2024.

Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that name of the petitioner has come in the confession of co-accused and he has also confessed his guilt.

In view of the fact that apart from his confession, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Pawan Kumar, learned Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Jamshedpur or his successor in connection with Bodam P.S. Case No. 22 of 2024.
