Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 180/2022, arising out of Bandgaon P. S. Case No. 11/2020, Corresponding to G. R. Case No. 250/2020, registered under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Sessions Judge, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa.

On 17.07.2020 at about 03:00 P.M., the father of the informant Johang Kongari was found murdered in the nearby field. It is alleged that the petitioner was standing there with a pipe in his hand and he had told that he had murdered his father as he was not giving him tobacco.

Learned lawyer appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that report regarding the stage of the case and the time required for its conclusion, earlier called for has been received, perused the same, it appears that out of seven witnesses, prosecution has examined only three witnesses.

Learned lawyer appearing on behalf of petitioner submitted that the informant Joseph Kongari has been examined and he has been declared hostile. It was further submitted that the petitioner has remained in custody for about three and half years.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sessions Judge, West Singhbhum, Chaibasa in connection with S.T. Case No. 180/2022, arising out of Bandgaon P. S. Case No. 11/2020, Corresponding to G. R. Case No. 250/2020.
