Both these bail applications arise out of same police case. Accordingly, they are being disposed of by a common order.

Petitioners have been made an accused in connection with Ghatsila P.S. Case No. 47/2022, Corresponding to G. R. Case No. 280/2022, registered under Sections 302/ 201/ 120-B/34/ 363/366 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Ghatsila.

On 04.05.2022, daughter of the informant namely Anchal Devi went missing. Suspicion was raised upon the named accused Prabhat Kr. Pramanik that he might have hand in missing of the victim as he was having illicit relationship with her. Subsequently dead body of the victim was recovered and the needle of suspicion pointed towards her husband Krishna Nath that he might have committed her murder. Krishna Nath was apprehended and he confessed his guilt and spelt out the involvement of the accused persons in commission of murder of his wife.

It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has

come in the confession of co-accused Ganesh Behra who has been granted bail by this court and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing.

Leraned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail but concedes that apart from confession, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioners named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Ghatsila in connection with Ghatsila P.S. Case No. 47/2022, Corresponding to G. R. Case No. 280/2022.
