Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Giridih (Cyber) P.S. Case No. 22 of 2023 for the offences registered under sections 419/420/467/468/471/120(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and section 66(B), 66(C) and 66(D) of I.T Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, (Cyber Crime), Giridih.

On 08.10.2023, Cyber Police, Giridih on the basis of confidential information, raided the house of one Baldev Yadav and apprehended several accused persons. On search, mobile phones and e-gadgets used in the commission of cyber-crime were recovered from their possession.

It was submitted that the petitioner was not apprehended at the place of occurrence. His name has transpired in the confession of the apprehended coaccused that he was also involved in the cyber-crime. It was finally submitted that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this court.

Considering the aforesaid facts, petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, (Cyber Crime), Giridih in connection with Giridih (Cyber) P.S. Case No. 22 of 2023.
