Heard the parties.
Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 52/2021, arising out of Tonto P.S. Case No. 34/2020, corresponding to G.R. Case No. 96/2021, registered under Sections 302 and 201 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-IV, West Singhbhum at Chaibasa.
Bail application of this petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court in B.A No.15207 of 2021 by order dated 27.01.2022.
The petitioner was married to the sister of the informant. His wife went missing, subsequently on his confession the remains of dead body of his wife Rita Hessa was recovered.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that out of eight chargesheet witnesses, seven chargesheet have already been exmained, only the I.O. remains to be examined.
Considering the nature of allegation and also the fact that the trial is at the fag end of its conclusion, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail is hereby rejected.
Learned court below is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within three months from the date of receipt of this order.
