In this writ application, petitioner has prayed for following reliefs:-

a) For quashing of letter No. PD/9.3.0/Kathara/17/1225 dated 8.5.2017 (Annexure-8) communicated vide letter no. 1202 dated 30.7.2017 issued by Assistant Manager (Personnel), Project Govindpur, Kathara Area, CCL(Respondent No.7), whereby the claim of petitioner for appointment on compassionate ground has been rejected on the ground that the petitioner has submitted her application for appointment on compassionate ground after the lapse of 3 years from the date of death of the deceased employee and also on the ground that the name of the petitioner was not mentioned in the service record of the deceased employee.

b) For direction upon the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for employment in CCL as per clause 9.3.0 of the National Coal Wages Agreement (hereinafter referred as NCWA for sake of convenience) as the petitioner has applied for her appointment on compassionate ground within time and being legally wedded wife and dependent of the deceased employee she is entitled for employment.

During course of argument counsel for the respondents handed over a copy of the appointment letter issued to this petitioner which is dated 6.2.2020. The said letter is kept on record.

From the aforesaid letter, it is apparent that the petitioner has been appointed on compassionate ground. Thus the relief which has been claimed in this writ application, has already been granted by the respondents.

Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of as the petitioner has already got the relief which she has claimed.
