It was further alleged that in the year 2012 Lucky Rice Mill was supplied 1,12,665.50Quintals of paddy collected from Agriculturists by 22 Primary Agriculture Credit Societies Limited (in short PACS), but Lucky Rice Mill did not supply the CMR. The Lucky Rice Mill was supposed to supply 68% of rice of the total quantity of paddy made available to it. However against as total quantity of 76612.54 quintals of CMR the Company had supplied 62920.04 quintals of CMR, Vide letter No.197,dated 31.5.13 issued by Deputy Commissioner; letter No.277,dated 20.7.2013 issued by District Supply Officer, Chatra and letter No.127,dated 16.7.13 issued by the informant, the mill was directed to deposit a sum of Rs.2,55,56,503/= which was of the value of balance quantity of CMR i.e., 13692.50 Quintals. However, against this, the mill had deposited Rs.93,64,546.00 in the office of District Manager, State Food Corporation, Hazaribagh through respective PACS and the balance amount of Rs.1,61,91,957.55 had not been deposited and as such, in view of the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, Chatra, the instant first information report was lodged against Gopal Narayan Das, Uma Shankar Tiwari; Sunil Kumar Sinha and Bijay Kumar Singh for misappropriation and defalcation of the amount.
