Heard the parties.
Apprehending his arrest in connection with Bariatu P.S. Case No.178 of 2022 instituted under Sections 406, 420, 323, 504, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioner has moved this Court for grant of privileges of anticipatory bail.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner has taken Rs.4,00,000/- from the informant to arrange a job for him in the Railways and handed over a forged appointment letter of the Railways. It is submitted that the allegation against the petitioner is false. It is next submitted that there is no document whatsoever to show entrustment of any money to the petitioner or the petitioner having ever handed over any appointment letter to the informant. It is lastly submitted that the petitioner undertakes to co-operate with the investigation of the case. Hence, it is submitted that the petitioner be given the privileges of anticipatory bail.
