Mukesh Prasad Yadav Alias Kamdeo Yadav Vs the State of Jharkhand

The present contempt petition has been filed for initiating a contempt proceeding against the contemnors/opposite parties alleging willful disobedience of order dated 25.02.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 3335 of 2020.

Mr. Vineet Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that the opposite party no. 2 has passed order dated 03.12.2021 rejecting the petitioner’s claim, a copy of which has been annexed as Annexure-A to the show cause affidavit filed on behalf of the opposite party no. 2.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and keeping in view that order dated 25.02.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No. 3335 of 2020 has been complied by the opposite party no. 2, there is no need to further proceed in the contempt petition. The contempt proceeding as against the opposite party no. 2 is hereby dropped.

The contempt petition is accordingly disposed of.

The petitioner is, however, at liberty to take appropriate recourse against the order dated 03.12.2021 passed by the opposite party no. 2 as available under law.
